Buck 301 Stockman altered into a 3-bladed carving tool. Originally designed to carve hiking staffs. I now use my own for more than 90% of my carving. The carving blade exits straight from center of the handle. On the other end of the handle are a small gouge and a smaller Vee tool made from the remaining blades. I have been improving it since 1997. Perfect for hiking, camping or traveling carvers. Fortunately, for me, the latest improvements have only been cosmetic. Each knife has a serial number.
So far, there are 70 happy users across the U. S. and Canada. At least, I have heard no complaints from owners and a lot of compliments.
