I have been carving for 30 years and have seriously carved over the past 9 years. Currently, I carve animals, human busts, caricatures and relief pictures. In reality most any object can be carved from wood. My carvings range from those in the round to both low and high relief. I use mostly bass wood, however I love to carve cottonwood bark.
